The only way to order a Ironclad remanufactured engine is through your local NAPA Auto Parts retailer. You can find your local NAPA store by clicking here.

We encourage you to use our online remanufactured engine catalog to find the proper part number. You can then call or visit your local store to price out and complete your purchase. At the time of purchase your NAPA Team Member can assist you with technical questions that may help ease the process. Remember, when buying an engine it always helps to know your vehicle identification number (VIN) which is located on the inside of your driver door, usually on the door jam.

Ironclad has 7 different shipping warehouses and stocks more finished goods than anyone else. What that means for you is that you will typically receive delivery of your engine within 3 business days from the time of order. See the below map of warehouse locations:

CORE RETURN PROCEDURES

  1. For each engine shipped from the factory, we will send by mail, an engine return tag that has information printed on front and back.

  2. Upon receiving the engine, check that the part number on the delivery bill of lading matches the part number on the crate.

  3. The store needs to retain the tag along with a copy of the invoice and then complete the tag when the core is returned.

  4. Once the core is returned it must be inspected and the results noted on the return tag (see core deduction schedule on catalog back inside cover).

  5. The tag must be attached to the core once it is completed.

  6. When buying an engine, please note that the core must be rebuildable for a core refund.
